1June, 1996, the former Hebei Normal University and Hebei Normal University merged with Hebei Education College founded by 1952 and Hebei Vocational and Technical Teachers College founded by 1984 to form a new Hebei Normal University. On September 20 1 1 year, the original campus was moved to the current site to realize centralized school running. 20 14 1 1 The People's Government of Hebei Province and the Ministry of Education decided to establish Hebei Normal University.
