It covers the whole electronic discipline and is known as "the vanguard of China Electronic University".

Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of China, a national "world-class discipline construction university", a "double-class" construction university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and Sichuan Province, a national "21/engineering" key construction university and a national "985 engineering advantage discipline innovation platform" construction university.

Sichuan Agricultural University, referred to as "Sichuan Agricultural University", was founded by the Ministry of Education, the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and the Chengdu Municipal People's Government. It is a national "double-first-class" world-class discipline construction university and a "2 1 1 engineering" key construction university.

Southwest Jiaotong University, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC).
