Jane Eyre-A Beautiful Soul
Jane Eyre is a poor but ambitious girl with a small body but a big soul, unknown but self-respecting. When we closed the cover of the book, after a long spiritual journey, Jane Eyre, an incredible figure, left us with too many memories and thoughts:
We remember her kindness: for a person who lost her arms and was blind, for a person who despised her because of her commonness, and even for a person who had deeply hurt her.
We remember her pursuit of justice. It's like a kind partner. However, a moral person should promote the good side and must also suppress the evil side.
We remember her self-esteem and clear position on equality. In her view, everyone is the same at God's feet. Although there are differences in status, property and appearance, all people are equal in personality.
We also remember her struggle for life, her strength and her confidence …
When we think of this girl, what she gives us is not a beautiful face or a detached temperament that we deeply admire, but the great charm of her personality.
In fact, she is not beautiful. Of course, her ordinary appearance has not made others like her, and even her own aunt is disgusted with it. Others even think that she is easy to be looked down upon and teased, so when Miss Ingram meets Jane Eyre, she looks quite contemptuous, because she is obviously much more beautiful than the "plain and ugly governess". But as the little governess said, "Do you think that because I am poor, humble, plain and short, I have no soul and no heart?" "You think wrong!" This is Jane Eyre's idea of equality. God didn't give her beauty and wealth, but God gave her a kind heart and a thinking brain. Her equality and self-esteem left a deep impression on us and made us feel the strength in her body.
In my opinion, although the beauty of a person's face can make others feel that a person is attractive and charming, if his or her heart is not as beautiful as appearance, such as beauty can't last, when others find that the beauty that once attracted them is only false, it is not true, they will no longer like this person. For a long time, only a person's great virtue, noble soul and beautiful mind can be called eternal beauty, just as Cahill Ji Bolun said, "Beauty is a burning heart and an intoxicated soul". I can feel what beauty is, because we are all physical people, so we can't tell whether a person is noble or lowly, but physical people, so we can't tell whether a person is noble or lowly, but because our souls are very different, we can know whether a person is noble or ordinary or even humble, that is, whether he is beautiful.
Her story makes us think about life, and we have learned a lot from her experience. At least, it is a new understanding of true beauty.
My impressions of reading English-Jane Eyre, her simplicity and loneliness, wandering around Thornfield House, her unfortunate Childwood, contradictory love and religious taboos can not stop her from pursuing a better life and cherishing human nature. She broke free from the shackles that imprisoned her spirit. Through struggle, she overcame poverty, customs, social standards and piety that prevented her from realizing her dream of happiness, and finally became her own master! It can be said that Jane's life was won through revenge and pursuit, and she did her best until she won the sunshine. The sun is now in her palm, shining brightly on her!
