1. Applicants for doctoral degrees at Fudan University should be China citizens who support the leadership of the China * * * production party, support the socialist system, and abide by the Constitution and laws of China, or overseas individuals who abide by the laws of China.

2. When applying for dissertation defense, the doctoral degree applicant must complete the credits specified by the school and pass all the course examinations, among which the average GPA of the degree course is not less than 2.5.
