The full name of Shenyang Radio and TV University is Shenyang Radio and TV University.

Shenyang Radio and TV University is an institution of higher learning approved by the provincial government and sponsored by the Shenyang Municipal Government. It is one of the 44 provincial TV universities in China, founded in March 1960. 1979, with the consent of Shenyang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, reported to Liaoning Provincial People's Government for approval to resume running schools.

65438-0984 Shenyang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government brought Shenyang Radio and TV University into the sequence management of local universities. In September of the same year, the Ministry of Education approved Shenyang Radio and TV University to enjoy the management authority and treatment of provincial radio and TV universities. From June 65438 to July 0999, with the approval of the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), Shenyang Radio and TV University began to implement the project of "Training Mode Reform and Open Education Pilot of Central Radio and TV University".
