Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a national "double-class" construction university, founded in 1956, and is one of the first four Chinese medicine colleges established in New China. Formerly known as Chengdu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, 1995 was renamed Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

After 65 years of construction and development, it has become a high-level university of traditional Chinese medicine with distinctive characteristics, with Chinese medicine as the main subject and medical and health-related disciplines supporting each other and developing in a coordinated way. It is the first batch of pilot units for doctors and masters in clinical medicine. In 2020, it will become a university jointly established by Sichuan Provincial People's Government, Ministry of Education and state administration of traditional chinese medicine.
