The School of Basic Medicine of Xinjiang Medical University was established in June 5438+0999, and its predecessor was the Department of Basic Medicine. Xinjiang Medical College, the predecessor of Xinjiang Medical University, was founded in 1956. At the time of opening, only the department of clinical medicine was set up, so the teaching and research section (group) of basic medicine was directly managed by the academic affairs office. With the continuous expansion of the school scale, 1984 established the Department of Basic Medicine, 1998 Xinjiang Medical College merged with Xinjiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, 1999+0 1 established Xinjiang Medical College.
