Where is Sapporo?
Sapporo is the most important city in northern Japan. Young people often call it the forefront of Japan and the capital of Hokkaido Island. Located between mountains and seas in the north, this city is the shortest in history compared with other cities. Founded 130 years ago, population1800,000. It is the fifth largest city in Japan and the political and economic center of Hokkaido. Many international events have been held here, such as 1972 Winter Olympics.
