Introduction to applied chemistry specialty

Applied chemistry is one of the earliest bachelor of science majors established in our school for the integration of science and engineering and the establishment of multidisciplinary universities. This major was established on the basis of running a school for many years with a master of applied chemistry, and was renamed from 1990 light industrial organic synthesis. From the very beginning, it was known for its high starting point and high standards. The applied chemistry major was founded in 2000, officially enrolled in 2002, and awarded a bachelor's degree in applied chemistry in 2006. There are 24 teachers in this major, including 6 professors (4 doctoral supervisors) and 3 associate professors/kloc-0. Teachers with doctoral degrees 14. This major is now in charge of three doctoral programs in applied chemistry, applied chemistry, industrial catalysis and analytical chemistry (science). The applied chemistry major inherits and develops the traditional characteristics of our college, focusing on surfactants, cosmetics and personal care products, flavors and fragrances. The admission rate of postgraduate students is 50%, and the employment rate is 100%.

Brief introduction of chemical engineering and technology specialty

The specialty of chemical engineering and technology is one of the earliest specialties established in our school, which was derived from the specialty of oil and fat in 1958, and later renamed as daily chemical industry, light industrial organic synthesis, fine chemical industry, and now chemical engineering and technology. 1988, its predecessor, Fine Chemical Industry, was awarded as the key specialty of the Ministry of Light Industry. In 2006, chemical engineering and technology was identified as a characteristic major in colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province. There are 0/4 teachers in this major, including 4 professors (2 supervisors) and 7 associate professors. There are 5 teachers with doctoral degrees. This major is now responsible for the doctoral program in leather chemistry and engineering, three master programs in chemical engineering, chemical technology, leather chemistry and engineering, and the master program in chemical engineering. This major enjoys a high reputation in the domestic daily chemical industry and surfactant field, involving oil and fat chemical industry, surfactant engineering and industrial application, new industrial separation technology and other fields.
