What is the basic course to learn? Advanced Mathematics, Linear Generation, Probability, College English, Management, Western Economics, Accounting Principles, Financial Management and Strategic Management are all courses that need to be tested.
The core courses are specialized courses: introduction to tourism, introduction to exhibitions, exhibition engineering and design, exhibition marketing, tourism psychology, festival management, National Day planning, exhibition writing, logistics management and exhibition venue management. These may be a little extensive to learn, which requires patience and hard work.
I have learned a lot about this major, but none of them are good. I suggest that on the one hand, deep development and mastering a skill will be of great benefit to going out to work in the future.
Where is the employment? 1. Organizer
Mainly engaged in attracting investment, that is, selling booths. The position is called account manager, which involves attracting investment before the exhibition, attracting visitors, serving exhibitors during the exhibition and tracking and summarizing after the exhibition. It covers a wide range, including telemarketing, marketing and marketing services, and there are many things to learn.
2. Service providers
Exhibition service providers are generally between the organizers and the undertakers, and their work is responsible for the overall planning of the venue, drawing review, security inspection, certification and other services during the exhibition. Because it does not belong to the nature of sales, it generally does not take commission, and the salary structure is simple and few. Frequent travel, customers can be organizers or contractors.
3. Contractor
Generally, these companies are from engineering construction companies, so compared with the organizers, they don't pay much attention to the market and marketing strategy. Working here, to put it bluntly, is to help exhibitors design and build booths, which is also of a sales nature. The advantage is that you can contact many exhibitions in different industries, and the disadvantage is that you are tired.
Personally, if it is a delicate little girl, I still suggest not to learn acting. Doing exhibitions is nothing more than designing, selling and building. Every day, I do construction, vacuuming and painting in the exhibition hall, feeling that I am half a decoration worker. In fact, if you sell it, you have to go to the scene, and you need to have excellent emergency capabilities.
But now the exhibition is developing very well, and we can learn a lot of new things every day. So basically people from all walks of life come to the exhibition and can keenly feel the changes in the market economy. If you are a strong girl, you will find it fun, but many of my friends' senior sisters can't resist the pressure of changing careers.
Moreover, the exhibition needs more practice, and many times you will find that theoretical knowledge is far from actual operation. I suggest that you can practice in a university exhibition company and experience different exhibition roles.
