Nanjing University Business School is one of the earliest institutions engaged in human resource management teaching and research in China, and its overall scientific research and teaching level is in a leading position in China. Among them, the international comparison of human resource management, strategic human resource management and enterprise human resource management in China has formed their own research characteristics and important influence.
The discipline of human resource management belongs to the first-class discipline of business administration in Nanjing University and the post-doctoral mobile station of business administration, and it is one of the main disciplines of enterprise management in the national key discipline. The team leader is Professor Zhao Shuming, who is the first famous scholar engaged in human resource management teaching and research in China and has extensive influence in the field of human resource management in China. The core academic teams are Yang Zhong, Yang Zhong, Peng Jisheng, Cheng Dejun, Tao Xiangnan and Associate Professor Dai. In the last ten years, the team members have presided over two key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, namely, "Theoretical Basis and Management Countermeasures of Enterprise Human Resources Development" (600,000 yuan) and "Research on Some Problems of Enterprise Human Resources Management in China under the Transitional Economy" (6,543.8+0,000 yuan), undertaken general projects 16, and published more than one paper 10 in important core journals at home and abroad.
The development of human resource management discipline in NTU relies on the national key discipline of enterprise management, which originated from the pioneering research of discipline leader Zhao Shuming in China in the early 1990s. At this stage, Professor Zhao Shuming's main job is to introduce western human resource management theory and establish an academic team of human resource management. From 65438 to 0992, Professor Zhao Shuming published the first book on international human resource management in China, International Enterprise: Human Resource Management, which established the theoretical system of modern human resource management and systematically introduced the research achievements and development trends of western developed countries in this field. From 65438 to 0995, Zhao Shuming completed "China Enterprise Human Resource Management". He not only discussed the allocation mechanism and policy system of human resources in China from a macro perspective, but also analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of various human resources management activities in China enterprises from a micro perspective. Academics call this book "groundbreaking work".
Since 1995, Professor Zhao Shuming has devoted himself to the exploration of human resource management mode in China enterprises. Therefore, he developed and designed a scientific tool "Human Resource Index Analysis" to analyze enterprise human resource management, and spent more than two years leading doctoral students to visit and investigate more than 0/00 state-owned enterprises, foreign-funded enterprises and private enterprises in China/KLOC. The research results have important guiding significance for government decision-making and enterprise reform and development. At the same time, Professor Zhao Shuming has made an in-depth study on the frontier topic of transnational operation of enterprises-cross-cultural management, and has caught up with developed countries in the study of cross-cultural management of enterprises.
At the end of 1990s, Professor Zhao Shuming began to study the human resource management strategy of China Enterprise Group, and has initially explored a solution. At this stage, due to high-quality research, a large number of excellent doctors and postdocs have been trained. After these doctors and postdocs stayed in school, the core of the human resource management research team began to form. Relying on high-level scientific research projects, Professor Zhao Shuming also actively cultivated and introduced outstanding talents to build an academic team of human resource management. He has successively guided and introduced post-doctors such as Peng Jisheng and trained doctors such as Yang, Yang Zhong and Tao Xiangnan. At present, these people have formed the backbone and core of the academic research team of human resource management in Nanjing University.
After 2000, with the formation of the core of the research team, high-level research results have emerged continuously, which has had a wide impact at home and abroad. In 2003, the teaching achievements of the undergraduate teaching team of human resources management won the title of national excellent course, and also won the National Book Award and the first prize of outstanding achievements of Jiangsu Province and the Ministry of Education. At this stage, the team is also committed to strengthening cooperation and exchanges with universities and enterprises at home and abroad, and has held four international business seminars in cooperation with famous universities such as the University of Southern California and the University of Sydney in Australia. It has also established stable academic exchanges and cooperative relations with many famous universities such as the United States, Australia, Macao, the Netherlands and Singapore.
