Beijing Jiaotong University Logistics Engineering and Management Postgraduate Entrance Examination Experience Sharing

Hello, everyone. I am a graduate student majoring in logistics engineering management in Beijing Jiaotong University. Today, I will share with you my experience of going ashore for postgraduate study. Everyone has their own plans and arrangements, and this article just provides you with an idea and direction. If there is anything wrong, please bear with me for your reference only.

First, about the choice of schools and professional settings for postgraduate entrance examination

First of all, let me talk about myself. I chose Beijing Jiaotong University because I grew up in Beijing and have an inexplicable preference for the only 985 university in my hometown. At the same time, it also set the tone for its future development in Beijing and surrounding cities. So Beijing Jiaotong University is a very cost-effective school for me. I chose the major of logistics because I studied this major as an undergraduate, and I am still very interested in this subject now.

In 2020, according to the requirements of national policies, the discipline of logistics engineering and management in our school will be divided into the comprehensive entrance examination of management. Because it is the first enrollment after the policy change, our enrollment ratio is about 1: 2. The difficulty is a little easier than Math III and English II (on the first test). The second interview brought some difficulties. At the same time, our school is relatively fair, with 50% of initial test and 50% of second test. So even if the initial test is not so ideal, the second test can still be turned over against the wind.

My advice on choosing a school is from two angles. The first is your own strength. The second is that the school has a major.

1. Give yourself a clear position. When you go to official website, you can check last year's re-examination list and final list. You can see what range the score is. For example, this year, our score is 200 points, and we can enter the second interview. You should allocate this 200 points to English and management to see how many points you want to achieve (for example, management 150, English 50 is relatively simple). But this score may not be successful after entering the second interview, so it will be higher than 10- 15, reaching 2 15. Everyone needs to combine their own situation to see how to achieve this score. If you feel you can't reach it, don't be impulsive. Postgraduate entrance examination is different from the college entrance examination, and the greater proportion of postgraduate entrance examination lies in choice. It will be easier to land if you choose the right one.

There are majors in the school. You must be interested in this subject and like it, because in the postgraduate stage, all academic work should be carried out around your major. If you lack interest in it, it is undoubtedly painful. It depends on the school and major after you are interested. Generally speaking, 34 schools are self-crossing >: non-self-crossing 985 >: 211> Ordinary undergraduate, this only refers to schools. From a professional perspective, you need students to collect the institutions corresponding to their professional rankings.

In addition to these two factors, there is also a geographical factor (for example, Shanghai graduate students majoring in economics 2 1 1 are better than 985 in the northeast and northwest). Universities in Beishangguang are generally better than other regions (I hope my alma mater will not invite me to tea).

Second, review experience for the first time.

(1) 199 comprehensive management capability:

Actually, I don't have much persuasion in this part. I started preparing for the management and comprehensive examination in early October of 20 19. Final grade169,59 points. I studied for about three months. I'll tell you how to review these three months. I hope you can find something helpful to yourself.

Management is divided into three modules: initial number, logic and text. At first, I was completely unfamiliar with logic, so I focused on logic. I use Lao Lu's logic and supporting online courses. First of all, I read the whole logic reference book from the beginning, and then I began to check for missing parts. Just like the difficult dilemma in logic, I didn't fully understand it until the exam came.

Logic is actually not that difficult. When we study logic, we will find that it is not consistent with the logic of our real life. For example, our usual logic is "nothing", and the inverse proposition should be "everything", but logically it is "existence".

All these require us to forget the past and learn new knowledge, just like when Zhang Wuji learned Tai Chi swordsmanship. Otherwise, we're really at a dead end and can't get out. Learning logic is also the most taboo thing. If we find ourselves confused when reviewing, we might as well change a course and change the way of thinking of our brain. After a while, we will look back and the logical line will be clear again.

For the review stage of logic, my suggestion is to read through it first, understand the overall framework of logic, make a mind map yourself, and then do more questions and draw more pictures. Don't think about why logic draws pictures. There are many problems in logic. Pictures are much more intuitive than words. When the question is finished, you should find your own question in the real question. You can review the wrong questions in the real questions in the wrong way, and re-learn and sort out the wrong knowledge points. Don't take chances and think that you are just careless, which must be abandoned.

In fact, there is nothing to say about the initial mathematics module, which is all knowledge points of junior high school and senior high school. When reviewing the initial mathematics, remember the formula book firmly, and then start to do the problem and do it repeatedly to form a sense of memory.

As students who are preparing for or taking part in the postgraduate entrance examination, mathematics has tortured us 10 for many years and will have a set of struggle experience. I'll just say a little, do more questions, do more questions, do more questions. Crowd tactics are always the best way to fight mathematics.

Don't start writing too early, because this is logical writing, and you need to understand the logic clearly before you start writing this module. The time to start writing normally should be before 10 month. Make sure to write more than 3 articles a week and practice your hand feeling. Don't have illusions about paper writing and final sprint. If we are so lucky, why not buy lottery tickets now, but all embark on this journey alone?

For writing, what I want to tell you is that you should be familiar with several mistakes in small composition and effectiveness analysis, and read the article for you from the mistakes. Don't read paragraph by paragraph, read the whole article, find the argument you want to criticize most, and then bring in the wrong way in turn.

A big composition is a process of accumulation, and it is also a process of forming one's own opinions. Can't be specious, good people support both sides. What we have to do is to criticize his views crazily, or support his views crazily, explain our views clearly, and accumulate more famous sayings and cases at all times and in all countries. It is best to use the case of high-end atmosphere to make every argument.

As far as the management system is concerned, I would like to give you some suggestions, that is, don't underestimate the management system, and don't relax because it is relatively simple when reviewing. Do the simulation first and then do the real problem, and brush the real problem for more than 3 times. Before the exam, you should simulate the exam environment for yourself. The amount of comprehensive questions is huge, which has an impact on students' mentality in the examination room. Simulate before the exam and arrange the time reasonably. My timetable is for your reference. Starting time is 55 minutes, logic is 70 minutes, and writing is 50 minutes.

(2) English. We investigated English 2, and the questions were cloze, reading 4, translation, new questions, a big composition and a small composition, which lasted for 3 hours. My English level is not particularly good, but I am stuck in the score of 60, and CET-4 has gone through a lot of hardships. For students with poor English foundation, I will give you the following two aspects.

1) words, English words are the most important. If the words are not too difficult, then reading an article is like a gobbledygook, and you can't even understand the stem of multiple-choice questions. How to review this module of words? What I recommend to you is Zhu Wei's Love in Words. You need to recite it repeatedly every day, do real questions later, summarize some high-frequency words in your notebook, and then recite them repeatedly, so that you can directly reflect the Chinese meaning in your mind when you see the word.

2) Grammar, grammar can't be practiced in a day or two. Grammar, you can find your own video to learn. Personally, I recommend Song Yixuan's grammar course, which is relatively simple and targeted. Similarly, when doing real questions in the early stage, don't give up when you encounter long and difficult sentences, or just muddle along and learn bit by bit. Understand the grammar in the sentence, so it won't be too boring.

3) Writing, composition and comprehensive composition are the same. Don't just look at the topic, write 2-4 articles a week from September. Look at other people's templates and sum up each template's corresponding self, so that you can bring in 5-6 templates anytime and anywhere.

Once we have mastered the basics, we will begin to face the whole set of English II questions. Personally, when I take exams and real questions, the general order is reading, new questions, writing, translation and cloze. Let me talk about the reason first. There is a saying in English II that the reader wins the world. We should give all our best spirit and brains to these four principles and make 100% investment. So, why do you want to do new questions instead of writing them directly? Because the way and method of the new questions are similar to reading, we only use the residual temperature to break through this problem.

Secondly, writing, which is a more detailed process, is standardized, while trying to avoid mistakes in words and grammar. If students prepare the above composition, this stage is a relatively easy dictation process.

By the time I finished writing, this English II paper was 80% finished. Then we will do translation. There is not much to pay attention to in translation, but you can guess when you encounter words that you can't. The former Chinese translator guesses the meaning of the latter word. At the same time, try to modify it into our Chinese word order and Chinese language habits.

Finally, cloze is the most worthless and difficult module in the whole article, with 20 questions 10 score. It examines the comprehensive abilities of grammar, vocabulary and reading. If you are not a great god who scores more than 75 points, please follow my instructions below and choose all A or all B (because there are 4 options, evenly distributed, 5 for each). At the same time, Gestalt will have some certain options, which will be summarized in the general video online class. You can select these options and then select them all. For example, if you choose three required items, namely A, B and C, then choose D for the rest, so you can get 4 points. Don't waste time. If some students want to do it by themselves, please ignore this paragraph.

Everyone should keep a stable mind. In the later stage, the postgraduate entrance examination is a disastrous abandonment. Too many people give up the postgraduate entrance examination. Everyone should stick to it and be a numerator instead of a denominator. When I was reviewing on 20 19, my mind almost collapsed. I take time to play basketball every day to vent my dissatisfaction. Everyone can also find their own way to vent. Review is not to soak in books all day, but to relax and improve your mood after setting your goals.

Third, the second interview matters needing attention

The re-examination of our school adopts written test+comprehensive interview. The retest score accounts for more than 60% of the written test. The number of people who entered the second interview last year was 19, and all of them were accepted. (Online interview due to the epidemic).

The re-examination subjects of logistics engineering and management in our school are operational research, facility planning, logistics economics, as well as oral English and politics.

Operations Research is the 4th edition of Tsinghua University Publishing House, and chapters 7, 8, 12 and 13 are not examined.

Facility planning is the second edition of Mr. Jian Shoufeng, Industry Press. Chapter 3 and 10 are not included.

Logistics Economics, edited by Mr. Sui Shoufeng and Mr. Jin, focuses on several economic models.

Oral English means asking questions and answering them on the spot. It's not particularly difficult, everyone can understand.

Politics is an interview. I don't know if it will change. I suggest following uncle Xiao's information closely, and politics will be fine.

The comprehensive interview examines the academic level and personality. The teacher is very kind and the overall difficulty is not high. You don't have to be nervous, just relax and respond to the teacher politely.

Fourth, the last advice for everyone.

The experience of postgraduate entrance examination gives us a direction, from which we can learn something useful to ourselves, instead of mechanically copying cats and painting tigers. Find the best learning method.

1. Fix the task every day and relax after you finish it. Don't think that studying for one day is the best, but learning today's content efficiently is the best. It takes one to two weeks to work out the amount of tasks, and you can feel it when you can afford it. The size of this amount depends on the requirements of foundation and score, as well as the degree of physical and mental fatigue. Personally, I suggest you take time to exercise and listen to music for about 2 hours every day. Do a combination of work and rest.

Don't procrastinate, rest 10 minutes, lie down for a while and get up. The breeding of this mentality is to give up and fail.

Don't talk too much about learning from others. Postgraduate entrance examination is a hard journey for a person. Don't share everything with others, especially your postgraduate partners. Your mentality can be transmitted to the other party, or if he learns a lot today, you are in a hurry and he learns less, so you slack off. This has an impact on your own planning.

4. Time arrangement: Taking May as an example, on the basis of June and July, it will be perfected in August and September (checking for missing items and filling gaps), simulating real questions at 5438+00 in June, and checking for missing items and filling gaps again at 5438+0 10 in June, simulating the whole real examination room, and adjusting at 10 in February.

This paragraph is not a suggestion, but tells everyone that the postgraduate entrance examination is not that difficult, but it is really painful. Maybe when you are studying, the students are playing happily with their salaries. But this road is your choice. Postgraduate entrance examination means the first road you choose as an adult. If you give up the first way, you don't have to say much in the future. So in the end, I hope everyone can adjust their mentality, study hard and work hard for the tomorrow they choose.

Finally, I wish you all the best and you can go ashore smoothly.
