HKU University is an international public research university. Its history can be traced back to 19 10. Its predecessor was Hong Kong College of Western Medicine. In the early days, the school was very small, with only 23 first-year graduates in 19 16. After years of development, today's HKU is a top-level prestigious school on par with Tsinghua and Peking University in Chinese mainland.
