The Historical Evolution of China Youshi University (East China)
From 65438 to 0969, the school moved to Dongying, Shandong Province, where Shengli Oilfield is located, and was renamed East China Petroleum Institute.

1981June, graduate department was established in the former campus of Beijing Petroleum Institute. From 65438 to 0988, the school was renamed Petroleum University, gradually forming a pattern of running schools in Shandong and Beijing.

From 65438 to 0997, Petroleum University officially entered the ranks of the first batch of national "2 1 1 project" key institutions of higher learning.

In 2000, Petroleum University was placed under the management of the Ministry of Education by China Petroleum and Natural Gas Corporation.

In June 2000, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school established a graduate school.

On June 5438- 10, 2003, the Ministry of Education signed an agreement with four major oil companies to jointly build a petroleum university.

In August 2004, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of Qingdao Campus of Petroleum University (East China). In June 2005, the school was renamed China Youshi University.

In August 2005, the Ministry of Education signed an agreement with the Shandong Provincial People's Government to establish China Youshi University (East China).

From June 5438 to October 2006 10, the school passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education with "excellent" results.

In 20 10, the school became one of the first 6 1 pilot universities in China to implement the "excellent engineer education and training plan".
