The predecessor of Wuhan Qingchuan College is Luojia College of Wuhan University held by Wuhan University. On April 20 16, the school was renamed as "Wuhan Qingchuan College", which is an ordinary undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education.
By April, 20021year, the school is now a national education reform and innovation demonstration college, a pilot undergraduate college in Hubei Province, a talent training base in cross-border electronic commerce, Hubei Province, and a service outsourcing talent training (training) base. It has been rated as the most influential private undergraduate school in Hubei Province and the national high-level private university for five consecutive years.
Characteristics of disciplines and specialties
By April of 20021year, the school had 10 colleges (departments), including accounting college, business college, computer college, electromechanical engineering college, Beidou college (electronic information college), foreign languages college, media art college, design engineering college, ideological and political theory department and public education department, with 42 majors covering economics.
The school takes the lead in jointly training professional master students among similar institutions in China. At present, there are two postgraduate enrollment majors, 1 Chutian Scholars Program. Broadcasting and hosting, accounting, computer science and technology, software engineering and other four majors were rated as first-class majors in undergraduate universities in Hubei Province, and accounting, electrical engineering and automation were approved as provincial-level "comprehensive professional reform" pilots.
