The University of Windsor is located in Windsor, the industrial center of the Great Lakes in the midwest of North America. It faces Detroit, Michigan across the Detroit River and borders the beautiful Great Lakes. It is the automobile capital of Canada and the largest mold design and production center in North America. Windsor is the southernmost city in Ontario and Canada. According to relevant data in 2005, Windsor has a total population of 320,000, of which the urban population is about 200,000, making it the sixth most populous city in Ontario. The downtown area of Windsor is very small, far less prosperous than that of domestic cities, and the scale of the city is even difficult to compare with a suburb of domestic cities. Windsor is connected with Detroit by a steel highway bridge "Ambassador Bridge" and an underwater highway tunnel. "The strength of the school in engineering and nursing is very strong.
