The design technology and manufacturing technology of power station equipment have independent intellectual property rights at the world advanced level. Group's main business: power generation equipment manufacturing and complete sets; General contracting of power station project; Services related to power generation equipment and power station construction. Ask and answer. A: Interview with Director of Human Resources Department of Shanghai Electric Power Bureau: Zhang Zhiyang Q 1: Can you briefly introduce your company and what qualities do you pay more attention to when recruiting? A: Shanghai Power Station is a joint venture with Siemens listed in Hong Kong, and it is also a state-owned enterprise. Its main products are power station equipment, and its main customers are state-owned power plants, including power station investors. They mainly buy power station equipment, and they will also let us help them with general contracting. Our business mainly includes manufacturing, general contracting and services, among which manufacturing is one of the three largest domestic manufacturers, and general contracting ranks 100 among the top 225 international companies. Therefore, the talents we recruit should have the following requirements: (1) Professional aspects: power, electricity, materials, machinery, management, etc. (2) In addition to professional requirements, we also need employees to understand foreign languages, local laws and international standards. This is a compound talent, which is also related to our company's business. At present, our company has gone abroad from China and moved from the third world to the second world. (3) Have some experience, because the company's project investment is large, and it is not allowed to fail. Q2: According to you, your company needs compound talents, but as contemporary college students, they are all specialized in learning, so how to train themselves into qualified talents? A: In fact, from two aspects, first, the compulsory courses in the school are necessary, so it is actually a manifestation of ability to learn your own courses well; Secondly, expand your horizons as much as possible in school to make up for it; In addition, the company will have some training when you go to work. Q3: Then an enterprise like your company must have professional training after recruitment. Can you introduce the training content of your company? A: There are generally three kinds of training contents in our training. The first kind of training includes entering the company, the workshop/department and the on-the-job training. There is induction training just after entering the company; The second type is on-the-job training, and everyone will be assigned a teacher to do one-on-one training. The third is orientation training, and we will provide different training according to departments. Q4: Can you give them some advice based on your current understanding of our Jiaotong University students? Especially those freshmen and sophomores? A: As a freshman and a sophomore, I hope you can get ready early and make a good plan for your future. Here is a suggestion for you, that is, I hope you can follow the SOS principle. First, start early. I hope everyone will get ready as soon as possible and design a more suitable plan for their lives. Secondly, set an object and a goal, and set yourself a realistic goal; Finally, stick to it! Hold on! Many students have this ambition, but if they don't stick to it, it will be a lifelong regret. ? Interview with Deputy Chief Engineer of Jinda Project Department of Shanghai Power Station: Song Zaile Q 1. As far as we know, your Shanghai Electric Company is a new state-owned enterprise. Can you tell us the difference between new state-owned enterprises, old state-owned enterprises and foreign enterprises? What are the advantages of the new state-owned enterprises? A: I will briefly talk about this. Judging from the impact of the financial crisis, the value and advantages of emerging state-owned enterprises can now be better reflected. No matter from the cultural connotation or influence of the enterprise, these are compared with small and medium-sized traditional state-owned enterprises and some foreign companies, because I am in charge of the project department in the company. From my personal feeling, although the financial crisis has come, we have not felt that it has been greatly impacted. Q2。 So, what impact do you think the current economic crisis has on our college students and new state-owned enterprises like Shanghai Power Station? For example, has the financial crisis affected the recruitment of your company? A: The impact is certainly there, but it is not as obvious as that of some small and medium-sized enterprises. In recent years, our annual enrollment scale has been expanding. Judging from last year's situation, our enrollment has entered a relatively stable period, because the new orders we receive every year are also increasing steadily and orderly. Q3。 In the past two years, we have been affected by the financial crisis and the recruitment of employers has been affected. So after the financial crisis, for example, in 2009 or 10, has your company ever thought about expanding recruitment? A: It should be. With the economic recovery, our market is also developing. For example, most of us used to develop in third world countries, such as India and Indonesia, and now we are gradually developing into second world countries. After the economic recovery, we will acquire more countries, undertake more projects and, of course, need more talents. Q4。 At present, your company's main business is manufacturing, such as the production of steam turbines, generators, power station boilers and so on. What is the future development direction? Will it continue to develop only in manufacturing or will it involve other industries? Let me explain something to you. At present, we mainly engage in power generation equipment, such as boiler plant, generator plant and steam turbine plant. At present, our overseas engineering services are mainly based on engineering services. In the past, our manufacturing industry simply sold some equipment, and we were responsible for the design and procurement in the early stage and the construction and commissioning in the later stage. What we sold them was not a piece of equipment, but a whole set of power plants. We not only provide equipment, but also provide services. Q5。 As we know, TEPCO, Shangdian Group and Harbin Power Group are the leading manufacturers in the power generation equipment market in China. So in this highly competitive industry, how can your company seek development among many competitors and stand out among many state-owned enterprises and foreign companies? A: I understand it this way. As far as product quality is concerned, there is not much difference between the products of the three major domestic companies. In fact, it is more important for us to improve the service level. We should not only satisfy them with our equipment, but also satisfy them with our service. In other words, we provide them with humanized service instead of cold machines. Q6。 Besides, your company is so successful in business. We want to know how your company encourages employees to give full play to their talents. I have been working in the project department since I joined the company. I think the deepest feeling left for me is that I feel at home, so that we can find a sense of belonging and reflect our own values. I think this is the most important thing, and it also allows us to play our greatest potential. Q7。 So what kind of quality do companies like your company value most when recruiting employees? A: First of all, it must be able to bear hardships; Secondly, the spirit of teamwork, you should at least have such an idea; Finally, the attitude of studying hard. Work experience is constantly accumulated. As long as you choose your own suitable position, have the attitude of continuous learning and be good at cooperating with others, such people will certainly be liked and developed by us. Q8。 Senior, you are now an engineer in the technical direction. We know that most of these positions require graduate degrees. A: In fact, technical work generally includes two aspects: one is from a professional point of view, you are proficient in this field, and you can be an expert in this field. In addition, you can develop other fields, such as management direction and technical management. You can lead the project from the overall situation. If you can enter the field of technical management, your future development direction will be much more than others. If you do technical management in the future, you must deal with business and logistics. This is impossible without extensive participation. Therefore, some people who have the overall situation and ability have been created. Q9。 Can you give us some suggestions based on your development path and your understanding of the current students of Jiaotong University? Or, if our students want to enter an enterprise like yours, how should they cultivate themselves to become more competitive? I know what you mean. I don't think the current graduates of Jiaotong University can bear hardships. At first, they demanded higher treatment. For our profession, if we can't bear hardships, the treatment is not as high as some occupations, but it is reasonable and not bad. Therefore, we should straighten our position and give ourselves an accurate positioning. Editor's Note: Minister Zhang Zhiyang graduated from Webster University in the United States and worked in GE for many years. He knows how to know people and discuss the world, and his speech is clear and friendly. He understands the situation of contemporary college students and is very concerned about their career development. Although the interview was short, he took time out to give some suggestions to our freshmen and sophomores. This attitude and mood make me feel respected and honored. Mr. Song Zaile is a graduate of Thermal Energy Research Institute of School of Mechanical Engineering, Jiaotong University in 2007. Although he has been away from school for two years, he is still very concerned about the career development of Jiaotong University students and has given us many targeted suggestions. His feelings for the students of his alma mater are touching.

I hope it helps you, thank you!
