North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Water Resources and Henan Province, which is mainly managed by Henan Province. It is a characteristic backbone university in Henan province, the first batch of master's degree awarding units in China and the first batch of basic capacity building engineering universities in central and western universities.
