What is Nanzan University?
Nanzan University is a private university located in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, and is a member of the International Association of Universities. Nanzan University, founded in 1949, is an educational institution founded by the Catholic Monastery "Saints' Association", a coeducational college and the only Catholic university in central Japan. It is a comprehensive university of arts and sciences with 7 departments and 16 majors.

Nanzan University has humanities departments (Christianity, human culture, human psychology and Japanese culture), foreign languages departments (British and American disciplines, Spanish and Latin American disciplines, French disciplines, German disciplines and Asian disciplines), economics departments (economics disciplines), management departments (business disciplines), law departments (law disciplines), comprehensive policy departments (comprehensive policy disciplines) and information engineering departments (software engineering disciplines).
