Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone is located in the easternmost part of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, bordering Huidong County and Haifeng County of Huizhou City in the east, with a total area of 468.3 square kilometers. The jurisdiction consists of four streets: Ebu, Xiao Mo, Chishi and Houmen. The coastline is about 50.9 kilometers long and the sea area is 1 152 square kilometers. By the end of 20021,the permanent population of Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone was 66,800. Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone is located at an important node of the ancient Maritime Silk Road, leaving many historical footprints, such as Wen Tianxiang, a famous figure in the Song Dynasty, Yu, a famous anti-Japanese, and a national hero. There are also many red relics in this area, such as the Red Fourth Division Memorial Hall, the Da 'andong Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Cemetery, the former site of Pengpai Propaganda Revolution, and the Liudong and Vertical Branch Battle Sites.
