1975 was jointly founded by Hengyang Prospecting Machinery Factory 72 1 Polytechnic University of the former Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources and Chongqing Prospecting Machinery Factory 72 1 Polytechnic University of the former Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, located in Hengyang City, Hunan Province. Approved by the former Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources and put on record by the Ministry of Education, it was officially named Hengyang Prospecting Machinery Factory Staff University of the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, which belongs to the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources. 1994 was officially renamed Hengyang University of Industrial Workers with the approval of the Education Department of the former Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources.
