Wenzhou University, referred to as "Wenda" for short, is located in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province and sponsored by Wenzhou Municipal People's Government. It is a university jointly established by the Education Department of Zhejiang Province and Wenzhou Municipal People's Government. It is a key construction university in Zhejiang Province, and was selected as the pilot university of "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program" of the Ministry of Education and the first batch of national innovation and entrepreneurship colleges.
