According to the 2023 enrollment brochure of Xi University of Technology, Xi University of Technology is an ordinary university approved by the Ministry of Education with the qualification to recruit high-level sports teams. Xi University of Technology will recruit no more than 45 high-level athletes in track and field and swimming in 2023.

According to the enrollment brochure of Xi Institute of Physical Education in 2023, 750 students are enrolled in sports training, martial arts and traditional national sports, giving priority to the outstanding athletes who apply for Xi Institute of Physical Education, and the rest plan to recruit ordinary candidates who apply for Xi Institute of Physical Education.
