I am a painting major. Although they all belong to a piece of ceramic design, the proportion of design and the like will decrease if I draw more by hand. Generally, only one of the four or five specialized courses will be involved in one semester. I think the painting is not bad. For example, the new colors and ancient pastels closely related to Jingdezhen do not need decals, but the finished products from painting to firing will be very fulfilling and beneficial to Chinese painting. Although I will learn some knowledge about bathroom and daily use, the curriculum will be a little more compact than painting, and I will learn more, but I am not as specific as painting.
