Introduction to Twente University School
Twente University (Dutch for Twente University) is located in enschede, the largest city in the eastern Netherlands, two hours' drive from Amsterdam, the capital. It is one of the national key research universities in the Netherlands 13, directly under the Dutch Ministry of Education. Trent University is recognized as one of the top universities in the Netherlands, although it is the youngest among the national research universities in the Netherlands 13.

Trent University was jointly founded by the Dutch government and the Ministry of Industry in 196 1. Its predecessor was Technische Hogeschool Twente, the third specialized higher technical college in the Netherlands, which was upgraded to a comprehensive university by the Dutch Ministry of Education. The establishment of Tongda has greatly promoted the adjustment of industrial structure and the development of high technology in the eastern part of the Netherlands. At the same time, as the closest Dutch research university to West Germany, Tunda University is also of great significance in promoting educational and scientific exchanges between universities in Tunte area and West Germany. The most prominent feature of Dongda University is its enterprise orientation. The university will support its graduates and faculty to set up companies with development potential and cooperate closely with Tunte Science Industrial Park.
