Tianjin Chengjian University, located in Tianjin, is an ordinary institution of higher learning in Tianjin. The school was founded in 1978, formerly known as the fourth branch of Tianjin University, and started undergraduate education based on Tianjin University. 1979 changed its name to Tianjin University Architecture Branch, 1987 changed its name to Tianjin Institute of Urban Construction, and 20 13 changed its name to Tianjin University of Urban Construction.
