If the applicant graduated from high school in 12 years: a four-year undergraduate course in a key university (21/engineering college), 1-2 semesters; Four-year undergraduate courses in colleges and universities have completed three semesters; Four-year undergraduate courses in ordinary colleges and universities have completed 1 semester, and passed the "College Entrance Qualification Examination" held by German preparatory schools, and obtained the qualification for admission to German universities.
If the applicant graduated from an eleven-year high school: a four-year undergraduate course in a key university, with at least three semesters; Or enter a four-year undergraduate course in an ordinary university for at least five semesters.
There are several points to note here: China recognizes the bachelor's degree or three-year college degree from a formal institution officially recognized by the German people and the Ministry of Education, and the academic qualifications from an informal university or informal higher education are usually not recognized; Applicants studying in Germany do not change their professional direction. If you choose a new major, you generally need to start from scratch, study in the preparatory course first, and obtain the "university entrance qualification" through the "qualification examination"; German institutions of higher learning can usually be divided into three types according to the characteristics of discipline setting. One is a comprehensive university. There are many disciplines and specialties, paying attention to systematic theoretical knowledge and paying equal attention to teaching and scientific research. The length of study is generally 4-6 years. One is the University of Applied Sciences. The scale is not large, and there are not many majors, but the curriculum and content are biased towards application, with obvious characteristics. The study period is generally 4-4.5 years. One is the Art College and the Conservatory of Music. The study period is usually 3.5-5 years.
In addition, graduates of three-year colleges and universities must attend preparatory courses or pass the "College Entrance Qualification Examination" of preparatory courses before they can enter German universities. Students and graduates from two-year colleges in China, students from three-year colleges in China and students from vocational colleges are not eligible to apply. Adult education, self-taught examination, TV University and Evening University are not recognized by Germany, but if students can apply for a bachelor's degree after the examination, their degree certificates and undergraduate transcripts will be certified by the National Academic Degree and Postgraduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education of China, and they will be qualified to study in Germany. Passed the examination of German Audit Department and obtained the same treatment as other ordinary full-time undergraduate graduates. Experts suggest that such students should strive to improve their grades in various courses in China so as to obtain the conditions for applying for a bachelor's degree.
