At present, there are 9 medical undergraduate colleges in Guangdong Province: School of Medicine of Sun Yat-sen University, School of Medicine of Shantou University, Southern Medical University, School of Medicine of Jinan University and Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine: Guangdong Medical College, Guangzhou Medical College, Guangdong Pharmaceutical University and Shenzhen University Medical College (enrollment began in autumn 2009).

If it is a medical major, the medical department of Sun Yat-sen University has always been the boss, and Southern Medical University ranks second. There are many students from Hong Kong and Macao in Jinan University, as well as medical departments and Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. All of them run schools in Guangzhou, and some of them are called Wuyi University in Jiangmen. These are all key universities. About the first recommendation of undergraduate A-line, Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, formerly known as Guangdong Health Cadre College, has university town, Chigang, Zhongshan and old campus in Baogang. There is also Guangzhou Medical College, which enrolls local students. In addition, Guangdong Medical College has schools in Zhanjiang and Dongguan.
