1. Yunnan Agricultural University is located in Kunming, the Spring City. It is the first batch of pilot universities in China to reform the education and training plan for outstanding talents in agriculture and forestry and the education and training plan for outstanding engineers, the second batch of demonstration universities in China to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, a provincial-level key university in Yunnan Province, a national "20 1 1 plan" construction unit, and a university with postgraduate exemption qualification.

The school was founded in 1938, formerly known as the Agricultural College of National Yunnan University, located in Chenggong County, Kunming; Kunming Agriculture and Forestry College 1958 was established independently and moved to Heilongtan in the northern suburb of Kunming; 1962 Southern Yunnan University and Western Yunnan University merged into Kunming Agriculture and Forestry College, 1969 moved to Binchuan County, Dali Prefecture, 197 1 year moved to Xundian County, former Qujing area, merged with Yunnan Agricultural Labor University to form Yunnan Agricultural University, and 1980 moved back to Kunming North. 1983 became the authorized unit of master's degree, became the authorized unit of doctor's degree in 2003, and the undergraduate teaching evaluation of the Ministry of Education was excellent in 2008.
