2. Provisions of the State Council on the working hours of employees.
Article 1 These Provisions are formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Constitution in order to reasonably arrange the work and rest time of employees, guarantee their right to rest, arouse their enthusiasm and promote the development of socialist modernization.
Article 2 These Provisions shall apply to employees of state organs, social organizations, enterprises, institutions and other organizations in People's Republic of China (PRC).
Article 3 Employees shall work 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week.

Article 3 Party B shall work 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week.
Article 4 Where the working hours need to be appropriately reduced due to special circumstances, it shall be implemented in accordance with relevant state regulations.
Article 5 The standard working hours system of 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week shall not be implemented. Due to the nature of work or production characteristics, other work and rest measures can be implemented in accordance with relevant state regulations.
