What is the accommodation situation in Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiaotong University, what is the surrounding environment, and is the daily (life, food) consumption expensive?
I am a medical student. I just lived for two years and then moved out. Generally speaking, the accommodation conditions in Minhang Campus of Jiaotong University are good. The dormitory for four people is fairly spacious, and the balcony on the first floor is equipped with iron railings to prevent theft. Floor tiles are laid to facilitate cleaning. Each room has a separate shower room and bathroom, and everyone's bed is above their desk, avoiding the trouble of bunk beds. There is no air conditioning in the dormitory, only an electric fan. If the door is not closed, it will be very hot in summer and very cold in winter, but you can't install heaters and other electrical appliances without permission. Sophomore students started surfing the Internet. There is a network cable interface on the second bed in each dormitory, and four people can surf the Internet through their own routers. The internet speed is still very fast, and my thunder reaches 8MB per second. There is a water room on the first floor, in which there are several coin-operated washing machines with unlimited supply of hot water. The power goes out at eleven o'clock at night, but you can take the risk of stealing electricity. The price of the canteen in Minhang campus is still acceptable. A large piece of meat will not exceed seven yuan, and the taste is ok. Unlike the current Second Medical University campus, a fish costs seven dollars. Private contracted hotels with toothache are everywhere in and around the campus. Of course, this is the category of high consumption. I am a local student, so I spend almost nothing at school except eating. If you want to go shopping, there are various supermarkets and shopping streets in the school, ranging from daily necessities to computer mp3 players. If you don't bother, you can go to the off-campus shopping center by bike. Because the campus is in Minhang, it is a bit remote. Anyway, I think the scenery outside the campus is seriously lacking the passion of the city center. You can ride a bike at school, but noon in the morning is the peak period and there will be traffic jams. Off-campus transportation facilities are complete. The bus can take the Shenmin line, the Xumin line goes directly to Xujiahui, and there are private small black cars, which are cheaper than ordinary taxis. You can take the nearby light rail to the railway station. If the route is suitable, you can also take the school bus and take a one-way trip to 4 yuan. These are my feelings over the past two years. Although there seems to be nothing wrong with it, there is always a feeling of "finally escaping back" after moving back, probably because the atmosphere there doesn't match my biological position.
