The selection of college graduate soldiers to be promoted shall be carried out in accordance with the standard conditions stipulated in the Interim Measures for Selecting Officers from College Graduate Soldiers. The following seven basic conditions should be met:

3. Education:

(4) those who have graduated from college, who have graduated more or less than the normal academic system according to the regulations on student status management, and soldiers who have no military graduates in military academies (such as military correspondence, entrusted training, self-study exams, adult education, etc.). 4. Have been enlisted in the army for more than 1.5 years (those who joined the army in the graduation school year should serve for more than 1.5 years after obtaining the academic degree certificate), and have worked in the recommended brigade (regiment) level unit for more than half a year.
