This major aims to train physics teachers and educational talents with high physics knowledge and skills that meet the requirements of quality education for middle schools in developed areas in 2 1 century. At the same time, students are encouraged to be multi-skilled, not only engaged in physics teaching, but also competent in bilingual teaching of middle school physics, counseling and training of middle school students' physics competitions, guiding students' scientific and technological activities, and carrying out teaching and scientific research in this major.
Main courses: advanced mathematics, general physics, theoretical physics, general physics experiments, modern physics experiments, middle school physics teaching theory, electronic technology, computer programming and other nearly 30 compulsory courses. In addition, many elective courses such as astrophysics, multimedia technology, audio-visual education technology, photoelectric devices and sensors, teaching software production, intelligent instrument design, educational and scientific research methods, and bilingual teaching guidance of physics in middle schools are also offered.
Employment orientation: physics teaching and teaching research in various middle schools and related education departments, teaching of computer, comprehensive science and technology and other related courses, and other related work.
