Beijing Normal University (hereinafter referred to as Beijing Normal University) is a key university directly under the Ministry of Education and a national first-class university built by the "985 Project" and "21/project".

Beijing Normal University is a university featuring teacher education, educational science and basic disciplines of arts and sciences. Environmental science is an undergraduate major in colleges and universities, belonging to environmental science and engineering. This major trains professionals who master the basic knowledge of environmental natural science, environmental technology science and environmental humanities and social science, have the basic theory and skills of environmental science, and can work in environmental protection and related fields in government, enterprises and scientific research units and continue their studies.

After graduation, except for a few who entered the postgraduate level for further study, most of them entered environmental theory research institutions and production departments at all levels as research or consulting personnel.
