Northeast Normal University is a university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), located in Changchun City, Jilin Province. Founded in 1946, formerly known as Northeastern University, it is the first comprehensive university founded by China * * * Production Party in Northeast China. 1950 was renamed northeast normal university according to the needs of national education development.

Northeast Normal University is the first batch of national "2 1 1 Project" key construction universities, and one of the 56 universities approved by the Ministry of Education to set up graduate schools. 11plan is one of the universities that plan to introduce talents through subject innovation.
