Shanxi Agricultural University, referred to as "Shanxi Agricultural University", is a national key university founded by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. At first, it was a private Mingxian school founded by 1907, and later it developed into a private Mingxian Agricultural College and a private Mingxian College. Shanxi Agricultural College was founded in1951; 1979 was renamed Shanxi Agricultural University and listed as a national key university; 20 19 The joint office of Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences was restructured and a new Shanxi Agricultural University was established.
