Huaibei Normal University is located in Huaibei City, Anhui Province, a national civilized city and a national garden city. It is a multi-disciplinary provincial key university. Founded in 1974, it was originally Huaibei Branch of Anhui Normal University.
1978 12 menstrual period was approved by the State Council, and it was named Huaibei Coal Teachers College, which was affiliated to the former Ministry of Coal Industry and enrolled students nationwide. 1September 1998, the management system of "central and local governments * * *, with Anhui Province as the main management" was implemented.
On March 20 10, it was renamed Huaibei Normal University with the approval of the Ministry of Education. He was awarded a master's degree in 2003. In 2007, it was rated as "excellent" in the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level by the Ministry of Education. In 2009, it was newly added as a provincial doctoral training unit and a postdoctoral training unit.

The school has two campuses, Xiangshan and Binhu, covering an area of more than 3,000 mu. The campus is built on the mountain, with beautiful natural environment and strong humanistic atmosphere. It has been rated as "Anhui Garden-style Unit" and "National Greening Model Unit".
