When can I take the second foreign language test in college? Are there any requirements?
Non-English majors and English majors can minor in a second foreign language, but freshmen can. Strictly speaking, however, the second foreign language refers to the second foreign language other than English majors that English majors started to minor in the second semester of sophomore year or the last semester of junior year. This minor is compulsory and every student has to choose it. There are no requirements such as grades, depending on personal interests or unified school arrangements (for example, choosing Japanese or one of Japanese and Russian as a second foreign language).
