1990 after receiving a master's degree in film and television production from UCLA Film and Television Institute, Cai Kangyong returned to Taiwan to engage in film production, screenwriter and film review, and then set foot in the radio and film industry. He used to be the director of the Voice of Taipei Radio and the editor-in-chief of the Chinese version of the fashion magazine GQ.

He has hosted many intellectual programs, such as turning over books and getting an electric shock, Viewpoint 360, Black Eyesocket in Taipei, Cai Kangyong Taipei Show, etc. Among them, the celebrity talk show "True Love Index" and "All Young and Old" programs, two generations of power companies are the most successful.
