New policy reform of national self-study examination
The latest provisions of the reform:

(1) In 2023, the enrollment of adult colleges and universities in undergraduate colleges will be gradually cancelled, and the self-taught education network will be merged into the three libraries, collectively referred to as continuing education, making it more difficult to get a certificate. In February 2023, junior high school went online, and there was no junior high school diploma to apply for a specialist in the future.

(2) Since 2022, many universities have stopped granting some professional degree certificates or increased the conditions for granting degree certificates.

(3) After the reform of self-taught examination, you will not be able to apply for junior college if you don't check your high school or technical secondary school education through the learning information network. In other words, before applying for junior college, you need to obtain a high school education to apply for it, otherwise you can't apply for it.

Self-study examination is a national self-study examination for higher education and a kind of academic education in China. Self-study exams are mainly based on self-study or aid, and can be recognized by the state through exams organized by the state or local governments.

There is no entrance examination, and the policy of "lenient entry and strict exit" is implemented. Candidates who pass the single-subject examination will get a certificate of conformity. After all subjects are qualified, a self-taught undergraduate diploma will be issued.
