1.67 What measurements should be taken to look good?
The measurement of human body circumference is an accepted standard to measure a person's figure, but a study by Lesek Pokrika of Gdansk University proves that this traditional aesthetic standard is out of date.

Pokrika led the researchers to compare the measurements of 24 contestants who participated in the All-Poland beauty contest finals with other 1 15 ordinary women. They pointed out that although people generally judge whether a woman's figure is attractive by waist circumference, height and hip circumference, this "general rule" cannot clearly distinguish attractive women from other women.

Through the comparative study of Miss Blind Date and ordinary women, Pocruika and others found that the real difference between women with perfect figure and other women lies in the proportional relationship between different parts of the human body and height.

Research shows that the ratio of height to thigh length of perfect women is about 12% lower than that of ordinary women, so they look slimmer. The calf skinfold test shows that the calf fat thickness of perfect women is only 15 mm, while that of ordinary women is18 mm.

New standards for women's figure

Pocruika and others also put forward a set of criteria for evaluating women's figure, that is, the average height of a perfect woman should be 5 feet 9 inches (about 1.74 meters), the ratio of waist circumference to chest circumference is 76%, and the ratio of hip circumference is 70%.
