Application difficulty
1. How difficult is the application?
Although there are not many universities in Canada, the quality of these schools can still be guaranteed. Mcgill University is one of the representatives of these schools. The school is located in Montreal, Canada. It is the second largest school here, and English and French will be used here.
Founded in 182 1, the school is the oldest of these universities and even known as Harvard in Canada. It won this title because of its extraordinary achievements and won the most awards in these colleges.
Such a world-renowned academic university has the highest average score for admission requirements in Canada, but its proportion of international students is also the highest here. Such a requirement is of course the most difficult school to apply for here in Canada.
Second, the application of related skills
Mcgill University requires very strict standards. It can be said that it is not difficult for top students to apply, and its admission score is also the first in Canada. It is conceivable that many people apply for such excellent institutions every year, so students must make preparations in advance if they want to apply.
For us international students, we must do the following:
1, you must get grades when you go to school, and the scores of national examination and college entrance examination are mandatory for everyone.
You must also have English scores. If you haven't taken English courses for more than four years, your English scores may become the threshold for your admission.
3. Prepare more other supporting documents, such as various activities or competitions you have participated in, which can be used to support your application.
Third, other suggestions.
1, grades are more important.
Since the entrance requirements are so high, you'd better get an average score of more than 85. Even if you can't apply to this McGill University, you will have more chances to apply to other schools.
2. IELTS needs to be prepared early
In the past, many students were like this, that is, they usually did well in various exams, and they have already got the offer from the school, leaving only the language scores. But for various reasons, these students were not prepared for their grades until they went to Canada. At that time, exams were often very stressful, and no good results were obtained. In the end, many people will not meet the requirements of the school. Admission can only be postponed.
