On April 24th, 2004, Kunming Intermediate People's Court sentenced the defendant Ma Jiajue to death and deprived him of his political rights for life for the crime of intentional homicide. The court held that Ma Jiajue made a series of careful preparations for revenge murder, actively committed crimes, and finally four people died. Subjectively, it is intentional to illegally deprive others of their lives, and objectively, it is illegal to deprive others of their lives, and the criminal consequences are particularly serious, which constitutes the crime of intentional homicide.

After the first trial, Ma Jiajue did not appeal. Ma Jiajue was executed on June 65, 2004.
