Tsinghua University Wudaokou Finance College is a secondary college affiliated to Tsinghua University, located in the south of the East Gate of Tsinghua University. Established on March 29th, 20 12, it was built on the basis of graduate department of China People's Bank in cooperation with Tsinghua University. It is the 17th college in Tsinghua University and the first institution of higher learning in China financial system to train senior financial managers.

1981September, graduate department, the financial research institute of the head office of the People's Bank of China, was formally established (later renamed graduate department, the People's Bank of China), and in the same year began to recruit graduate students for the society; 1987 began to train doctoral students.

Development history

Tsinghua University Wudaokou Finance College was formerly known as graduate department, the People's Bank of China. 1981September, in order to meet the urgent demand of financial system reform for high-quality financial applied talents, graduate department (1994 renamed as graduate department of China People's Bank), the financial research institute of China People's Bank, came into being.

Graduate department, the People's Bank of China, is the first institution of higher learning in China's financial system to train senior financial management talents. Because it is located in Wudaokou, Haidian District, Beijing, people affectionately call it Wudaokou. At the beginning of the establishment of Wudaokou, in the arduous process of running a school, a unique Wudaokou spirit of "not afraid of hardship, daring to be the first, stressing unity and paying attention to contribution" was formed.
