Peking University Institute of International Relations, the earliest school of international relations established in China comprehensive universities, is the most important base for training professionals in international issues, diplomacy and foreign-related work, research and teaching.

Peking University University of International Relations has two majors: diplomacy, international politics and international organizations, and international public policy.

Department specialty

The Institute of International Relations consists of five departments and three research institutes, namely, the Department of International Politics, the Department of Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs Management, the Department of International Political Economy, the Department of Comparative Politics, the Department of International Organizations and International Public Policy, the Institute of International Relations, the Institute of Asian and African Studies and the Institute of World Socialism. In addition, it also manages more than 20 scientific research centers.

Teaching AIDS and administrative institutions include administrative office, educational administration office, party committee office, financial office, student affairs office, international project office, continuing education office, network office, editorial department of international political studies and national customs branch of Peking University Library.
