Changes of Huajiachi Campus of Zhejiang University
From 65438 to 0934, the Agricultural College of Zhejiang University moved from Jianqiao to Huajiachi, and established a new teaching building next to Huajiachi.

/kloc-in the summer of 0/937, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression broke out and the Agricultural College moved to Meitan, Guizhou.

1945, Agricultural College moved back to Hangzhou from Meitan after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. However, in the westward movement, the original site of the Agricultural College was destroyed and the beautiful Huajiachi was devastated. The school building standing next to Huajiachi no longer exists, and the campus is in ruins. Under the leadership of President Zhu Kezhen, starting from 1946, Shennong Pavilion, Hou Ji Pavilion, Leizu Pavilion, Xizhai Village, Hua 1 Zhihua Village were successively built in the south of Huajiachi. Shennong, Hou Ji and Leizuge are teaching office buildings, and their names mean "Don't forget to take agriculture as the foundation". In ancient China, there were legends that Shennong planted crops, Hou Ji planted crops and Leizu raised silkworms. Xizhai is the library, and Huazhi 1 is the student dormitory.

In 1980s, Huajiachi Campus has become one of the most beautiful campuses in China. 1993, Huajiachi Campus was awarded the honorary title of "Top 300 National Afforestation and Greening Units" by the National Greening Committee. In the book "National Human Geography", Huajiachi of Zhejiang University was listed as the 66 most beautiful places in China.

After decades of construction, the beautiful landscape of "three mountains, one island, six pavilions and one promenade" has been formed around Huajiachi. There are many scenic spots around the pool, such as "Xiaogushan", "Xiaosantan Yin Yue", "Autumn Moon in Hu Xiaoping" and "Xiao Su Causeway", so it has the reputation of "Little West Lake".
