I. School environment
The College is located at No.333 Xishan Avenue, Wuxi, adjacent to the core area of Dong Xi New Town Business District, only 1 km away from Wuxi East High-speed Railway Station, Metro Line 2 and Yingyuehu Central Park, with beautiful scenery and superior geographical location. Total campus area 1 10 1 mu. It is a modern intelligent campus, ecological campus, humanistic campus, low-carbon campus and open campus.
Second, the teaching staff.
There are 532 full-time teachers in the school, of which 40.4% are teachers with senior titles, and the doctor rate is 48.3% (more than 70% of them have senior titles or doctor degrees). There are more than 60 full-time teachers, including national invited experts, provincial "333" high-level talents, provincial "blue project" young and middle-aged academic leaders, provincial double-creation doctors and other high-level talents. The teaching staff is strong.
Third, dormitory conditions
Student apartments, classrooms and restaurants are all air-conditioned, and the campus is all covered with wireless broadband network. The student apartment has excellent conditions, equipped with face recognition intelligent access control system and credit card access control system, four-person standard room, Chaoyang ventilation, dry and wet separation, and independent bathroom. Professional setting:
To meet the needs of local economic and social development, the school has Internet of Things Engineering College, Computer College, Electronic and Information Engineering College, Automation College, Rail Transit College, Environmental Engineering College, Atmospheric and Remote Sensing College, Science College and Business College.
At present, there are 14 teaching units, 6 master's majors (jointly trained with nanxin university) and 42 undergraduate majors, including science, engineering, literature, management, economics, law and art.
The major of Internet of Things Engineering was selected as the national first-class undergraduate specialty construction site, and three majors, including financial engineering, electronic information engineering and automation, were selected as the first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites in Jiangsu universities.
