1. Chongqing University:
Chongqing University (CQU), referred to as "Chongda" for short, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). 2. Chongqing Normal University:
Chongqing Normal University, located in Shapingba District, Chongqing, was founded in 1954. It is a comprehensive normal university with seven disciplines: literature, history, law, economics, science, engineering and management. It is one of the key universities in Chongqing.
3. Chongqing Medical University:
Chongqing Medical University, located in Shapingba District, Chongqing, was founded on 1956. It is a medical university with distinctive medical characteristics and coordinated development of multiple disciplines. It has three disciplines: medicine, pharmacy and biology, and is one of the key universities in Chongqing.
4. Southwest University:
Southwest University, located in Shapingba District of Chongqing, was jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Chongqing in 2005. It is a comprehensive university with nine disciplines: literature, history, law, economics, science, engineering, agriculture, teaching and management.
5. chongqing technology and business university:
Chongqing technology and business university, located in Shapingba District, Chongqing, was founded in 1952. It is a university of finance and economics, with five disciplines: economy, management, law, literature and engineering.
In addition to the six universities listed above, there are many other universities in Shapingba University Town, such as Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Sichuan International Studies University and Southwest University of Political Science and Law.
