In 2002. According to the inquiry of official website of Taiyuan University of Technology, the school history museum of Taiyuan University of Technology was established in 2002. The school established a school history committee composed of documents, historical relics and pictures, and began to collect and sort out the historical materials of Taiyuan University of Technology. In the following years, Taiyuan University of Technology carried out large-scale collection, collation and compilation of historical materials in order to establish school history files and books. In 2009, the History Museum of Taiyuan University of Technology was officially opened and became an important place for Taiyuan University of Technology to display its own history and culture.
