Nankai University of Binhai, referred to as Nankai Binhai for short, started school in 2002 and was formally established in 2004. Approved by the Ministry of Education, Nankai University and Tianjin Binhai New Area People's Government jointly established a full-time undergraduate college. The development of history

In July, 2002, Chen Zhili, Minister of Education, had a discussion with the heads of universities in Beijing and Tianjin. The Ministry of Education asked the "985" universities in Beijing and Tianjin to actively set up independent secondary colleges or branches, and then Nankai University decided to cooperate with the Dagang District People's Government in Tianjin.

In September 2002, in memory of Zhang Boling, a famous patriotic educator, Nankai University and Dagang District People's Government established the "Boling College of Nankai University" on the basis of the Vocational and Technical College of Nankai University (starting from Nankai University College).

In May 2009, due to the evacuation of Dagang District to Binhai New Area, Binhai College was managed by Nankai University and Dagang Management Committee of Binhai New Area, and Nankai University was solely responsible for its teaching and management.

On September 20 14, Binhai College of Nankai University successfully obtained the qualification of supporting unit of the National Natural Science Foundation and officially became the supporting unit of the National Natural Science Foundation.

2065438+February 2005, Binhai College was upgraded to Nankai University and cooperated with Binhai New Area Government in an all-round way. All the power of the college was handed over to Nankai University, and the teaching and management of the college was solely responsible for it.
